Kaunic (Kounic) Palace (At the Golden Spur, At the Silver Fox, At the Silver Pike) - Mostecká Street 15/277, Lesser Town
Mostecká Street 15/277, Lesser Town
Originally two Gothic townhouses, with later adaptations, joined together in 1773-75 by a Rococo reconstruction based on a plan by A. Schmidt for Jan Adam Kaunic. The façade is richly decorated with stucco (e.g. a relief with Pallas Athena) and adorned with groups of semi-lying figures and putti, perhaps by I. F. Platzer. In 1931 the palace has been renovated and now is used by the Embassy of Serbia.
