Old Town Square 29/460, Old Town
Originally a Gothic house, rebuilt in an early Baroque style and also in peak Baroque style around 1720, elevated by a floor in the 1880’s. The oriel (former chapel) has a Gothic net vault from the 15th century. The cellars preserved their Gothic character, on the groundfloor there are peak Baroque vaults. On the corner of the house there is a statue of St. Florian by I. F. Platzer from period after 1760. After a defeat in the Battle of the White Mountain ‚winter king‘ Friedrich of Pfalz slept over in this house.
